Quality Assurance & Audits

If you manufacture or supply cosmetic material or products, you will likely undergo regular audit or inspection.

This may include general health & safety inspection, audits requested by your clients or those associated with specific accreditations to certify that products are organic or cruelty free for example.

At CCC we have have a set of templates, documents and services that will get you fully prepared for these audit scenarios.

Operations Manual

This includes helping you create or build your Operations Manual, which is an integral part of Good Manufacturing Practice within the personal care sector (ISO 22716) and within the general Good Manufacturing Practice Standard, ISO 9001. These are the first accreditations we recommend for any cosmetic business before moving onto specific accreditations aimed at demonstrating a dedication to cruelty free or sustainable ingredients, for example.

Internal Audits

A programme of internal audits is also a requirement of the ISO standards and other accreditations.

We offer a programme that will cover all requirements that need to be addressed over a 12 month period.

Training

We’ve identified the training required to comply with numerous standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 22717, COSMOS (organic certification), RSPO (sustainable palm oil certification), cruelty free, allergy certified and the SMETA 2-Pillar audit, currently used by Amazon.

Training programmes comprise of sets of videos of varying duration from 3-20 minutes.
