Cetearyl Alcohol

Cetearyl Alcohol

Cetearyl alcohol is the material every formulator of creams should be very familiar with.  It builds viscosity and stability and is basically the backbone of the formulation.  It comes as easy to handle pure white flakes.

Use levels are between 3% and 15% depending on how stiff you want your cream to be.  Treat it as a consistency modifier.
